Return Policy

At The Dress Outlet, your satisfaction is our priority. While we strive to make your shopping experience as seamless as possible, please note the following return guidelines. As a small business, we appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

Contact Us Within 5 Days

  • You must reach out to us within 5 days of your order being delivered to initiate a return. If this timeframe is missed, we reserve the right to decline your return request. Email us at info@thedressoutlet.com or call us at 213-642-1003 so we can start the return process.

Refund Eligibility

  • Refunds are only available for items from the Dylan & David or R&M Richards brands that are not marked as FINAL SALE. A 20% restocking fee will apply to these refunds.

Exchange or Store Credit for Other Returns

  • All other returns are eligible for exchange only or store credit, subject to the guidelines below.

Restocking Fees

  • Regular orders are subject to a 20% restocking fee.
  • Special order items may have a higher restocking fee, which will be communicated to you via email, phone, or text for your approval before processing.

Exchanges

  • Exchanges are limited to one per original order.
  • Items received as part of an exchange are considered final sale and cannot be exchanged or returned for store credit.
  • All exchanges are subject to our approval.

Store Credit

  • Store credit is issued as a digital gift card, which tracks your balance and does not expire.
  • Store credit is subject to a 10% restocking fee.
  • Items purchased using store credit are considered final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.
  • Store credit cannot be refunded and will remain store credit since it does not expire.

Return Timeline

  • Approved returns must be sent back to us within 14 days of approval. Returns sent after this timeframe will be rejected and returned to you at your expense.

Final Sale Items

  • Items marked as SALE or containing SALE in the title are considered FINAL SALE. These items cannot be returned or exchanged unless they were received damaged or incorrect. In such cases, these items will be addressed separately without applying restocking or final sale rules.

Damaged or Incorrect Items

  • Items that arrive damaged or incorrect are excluded from the restocking fee, exchange, and store credit rules. Please contact us immediately for resolution.

Return Shipping Costs

  • Unless the item was received damaged or we sent the incorrect item, the customer is responsible for the cost of return shipping.
  • We reserve the right to update or adjust these policies on a case-by-case basis.

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Contact us within 5 days of delivery via email (info@thedressoutlet.com) or phone at 213-642-1003
  2. Once approved for the RMA, you should be given an RMA form to include in the return
  3. Make sure the item has all the original tags, nothing removed, back in the plastic bag and
  4. Ship it back to us. You are responsible for the return label unless the item was received damaged or incorrect
  5. Once your item has been received, inspected and processed, we will issue the requested exchange or store credit

  2. You must request a return within 5 days after receiving your order.
  3. Final Sale items cannot be returned!
  4. International (Anything outside the U.S. or its territories) cannot be returned at this time.
  5. Store Credit is available with a 10% restocking fee. All store credit sales are FINAL SALE and cannot be returned or exchanged unless we sent a damaged or incorrect item. Store credit cannot be combine with another coupon code or discount code. Store credit does not expire
  6. Returns are carefully inspected; all original tags must be in place and the product must not show any signs of wear or damage.
  7. If you receive a damaged item, tell us right away! That way, we can immediately send your replacement of the same style, size and color.
