Refund Eligibility
- Refunds are available for items from our Dylan & David and R&M Richards collections, as long as they're not marked as FINAL SALE. To keep things simple, a small 20% restocking fee will apply to these refunds.
Exchange or Store Credit for Other Returns
- We're happy to offer exchanges or store credit for most returns, except for FINAL SALE or SALE items. Exchanges come with no restocking fee, while store credit only has a 10% restocking fee and expires 5 years from the day it is issued.
Restocking Fees
- Special order items may have a higher restocking fee, but don’t worry. We’ll let you know the details by email, phone, or text and get your approval before finalizing your order.
Exchanges
- Exchanges are limited to one per original order. Items received through an exchange are considered final sale and cannot be exchanged or returned for store credit.
Store Credit
- Store credit is issued as a digital gift card, which tracks your balance and expires 5 years from the issue date.
- Store credit is issued in the amount you purchased the item for minus a 10% restocking fee.
- Items purchased using store credit are considered final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.
- Store credit cannot be refunded and will remain store credit.
Return Timeline
- You need to contact us within 7 days after your order was delivered
- Contact us via phone, email or online returns portal
- Approved returns must be sent back to us within 14 days of approval. Returns sent after this time will be rejected and returned to you at your expense.
International Orders
- International orders are not eligible for exchange or return unless we sent the incorrect dress. International orders are considered final sale.
Final Sale Items
- Items marked as SALE or containing SALE in the title are considered FINAL SALE. They cannot be exchanged, or returned.
Return Shipping Costs
- The customer is responsible for all return shipping costs.
- We reserve the right to update or adjust these policies on a case-by-case basis.
Gift Card and Store Credit Terms
1. Validity and Expiration:
All gift cards and store credits issued by The Dress Outlet Inc. are valid for a period of five (5) years from the date of issuance or the date funds were last loaded or added. After this period, any remaining balance will automatically expire, and the gift card or store credit will no longer be valid or redeemable.
2. Purchase Disclosure:
The expiration date will be clearly stated at the time of purchase and printed on the gift card or included in the purchase confirmation. We encourage customers to use their gift cards or store credits before the expiration date to avoid any inconvenience.
3. No Extensions or Reissues:
Except where required by law, we do not provide extensions or reissues for expired gift cards or store credits.
4. Lost or Stolen Cards:
We are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged gift cards or store credits. Treat your gift card or store credit like cash.
5. Use of Funds:
Gift cards and store credits can only be used for purchases at The Dress Outlet Inc. and are not redeemable for cash, except where required by law.
6. Legal Rights:
This policy is in accordance with applicable laws, including California law, which allows gift cards and store credits to be valid for up to five years from the date of issuance.
7. Amendments:
The Dress Outlet Inc. reserves the right to amend or update these terms at any time, with changes effective upon posting on our website.

How to return your dress

INSTRUCTIONS
- Contact us within 7 days of delivery via email (info@thedressoutlet.com) or phone at 213-642-1003
- Once approved for the RMA, you should be given an RMA form to include in the return
- Make sure the item has all the original tags, nothing removed, back in the plastic bag and
- Ship it back to us. You are responsible for the return label unless the item was received damaged or incorrect
- Once your item has been received, inspected and processed, we will issue the requested exchange or store credit

- You must request a return within 7 days after receiving your order.
- Final Sale items cannot be returned!
- International (Anything outside the U.S. or its territories) cannot be returned at this time.
- Store Credit is available with a 10% restocking fee. All store credit sales are FINAL SALE and cannot be returned or exchanged unless we sent a damaged or incorrect item. Store credit cannot be combine with another coupon code or discount code. Store credit expires 5 years from issue date
- Returns are carefully inspected; all original tags must be in place and the product must not show any signs of wear or damage.
- If you receive a damaged item, tell us right away! That way, we can immediately send your replacement of the same style, size and color.
