FAQs
If you notice a small hole in your tulle prom skirt, avoid pulling or stretching the fabric. Tulle does not fray easily, but the hole can widen with tension. For a temporary fix, you may gently bring the edges together using a tiny piece of clear thread or a minimal dot of fabric-safe adhesive. For a lasting repair, consult a professional tailor before prom night.
To reduce static in a prom dress, lightly rub a metal hanger or a dryer sheet along the inside of the skirt. This helps neutralize static electricity and allows the fabric to fall naturally. You can also use a light mist of anti-static spray designed specifically for clothing to prevent cling.
Super glue cannot be applied to the fabric, but only on hard objects such as shoes or other jewelry. Prom dresses, such as printed prom dresses or delicate fabrics (tulle and satin), can be permanently damaged using super glue, and the residue will be visible. Always apply cloth adhesive or try professional alterations in garment repair.
